New Lenox Cops Capture Wanted Woman

A New Lenox woman wanted for failing to appear in court was arrested at her home.

A New Lenox cop went to the home of a woman who failed to appear in court for a traffic case and arrested her Friday morning, police said.

Vesna Fantin, 45, of 1105 Somerset Acres was booked into the Will County jail shortly before noon Friday. She was released on bond about 5 p.m. Monday.

An "officer received information that Fantin had a warrant for her arrest and went to her residence," police said. "The officer located Fantin at her residence and took her into custody."
