New Lenox Cops Capture Wanted Men and Woman

The New Lenox police picked up some people on warrants.

The New Lenox police apprehended wanted people recently.

The cops first caught Eric Lane, 30, of 815 Sudbury Drive in Joliet shortly before 11:30 a.m. Monday.

Lane was taken into custody during a traffic stop near the intersection of Route 30 and Marley Road.

An "officer observed a vehicle with expired registration and conducted a stop," police said. "The officer discovered that the driver, Lane, had a warrant for his arrest."

Lane was wanted for allegedly failing to appear in Will County court. He was released after posting bond.

Then, shortly before 10 p.m. Tuesday, another Joliet man was arrested.

Jeremy Page, 24, of 1016 Richards St. was nabbed during a traffic stop near the corner of Route 30 and Cedar Road.

An "officer observed a vehicle with only one taillight and conducted a stop," police said. "The officer discovered that the passenger, Page, had a warrant for his arrest.

The warrant charged Page with failing to appear in Will County court. He was released after posting bond.

Three days later, about 2:30 a.m., a Bourbonnais woman was pulled over and arrested.

Jolene Sander, 30, of 751 Robert Drive was taken into custody shortly before 2:30 a.m. near the corner of Cedar and Francis roads.

An "officer observed a vehicle speeding and conducted a stop," police said. "The officer discovered that the driver, Sander, had a warrant for her arrest."

Sander was wanted for allegedly failing to appear in Will County court. She was taken to jail.
