Driving on a revoked license

John Burns, 52, Mokena, was stopped in his car at Haven and Prairie Avenues after a random registration check. Police discovered that he was driving on a revoked license. He was taken to the Will County Jail.

SATURDAY, NOV. 24

Disorderly conduct

Sean Nearey, 34, Frankfort, was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly caused a disturbance at Silver Cross Hospital, 1900 Silver Cross Blvd. He was arrested and posted bond.

FRIDAY, NOV. 23

Credit card fraud

Police say a woman notified them from the 500 block of E. Route 30 that her debit car had been used to rack up $900 work of unauthorized purchases. Police are investigating the incident.

Video games lifted from Walmart

Walmart security staff notified police that someone stole video games from the store.

Christmas display damaged

A criminal damage to property complaint was filed by a resident of the 1500 block of Fernwood Terrace. According to the report, someone cut the light to the Christmas decorations.

DUI results in an accident

Edward McIntosh, 48, of the 900 block of Somerset Street, was charged with DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after a collision at Route 30 and Schoolhouse Road. 

Driving on a suspended license nets two

Victoria Fonseca, 25, Joliet, was stopped in a vehicle at Route 6 and Silver Cross Boulevard after a random registration check. Turns out, she was allegedly driving on a suspended license, operating a vehicle with an expired registration and wanted on a Will County warrant for failure to appear in court. She posted bond.

Nicholas Lusson, 28, Merrionette Park, was stopped in his car in the 600 block of E. Route 30 after a random registration check. He was charged with driving on a suspended license and operating an uninsured vehicle.
