Mug Shot Gallery: Lincoln-Way Arrests, May 15-21

See who got arrested this week in the Lincoln-Way communities.

Every week we'll show some of the mug shots of people arrested in New Lenox, Frankfort and Mokena. The photos will be supplied by the Will County Sheriff's Department, New Lenox, Mokena or Frankfort Police Departments.

Are you a fan of true crime? "Like" the Crime-n-Shame page on Facebook.

This week, all pictures were taken when the accused were booked May 15-21.

Information for the Mug Shot Gallery is provided by law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions taken on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.

Really is this mug shot section so important!! What crimes have these people been arrested for that are that terrible.Everyone makes mistakes, not everyone gets caught. Are they terroists, murderers?? No,so find something important to fill your newspaper.

I agree nancy, this is just voyueristic. They also shouldn't publish people when they get arrested for dui in town, especially for first offense. Why do we have to have these public humiliations?

I AGREE

Public humiliations?? I believe there was a choice involved. They make or have made poor choices resulting in breaking the law. 1st offense DUI is just as bad as the 2nd, 3rd, and so on. It only takes once to hurt someone or others. With that being said, poor choices result in not so good consequences.

And for at least one of these people, the arrest is long overdue. Been fooling with heroin for years along with her boyfriend who's again a guest of IDOC.

Two of these people are in for heroin, so the "public humiliation" is necessary.

I do not take pleasure in others troubles. Please stop publishing mug shots and crimes unless it is for the greater good of the community such as a home break-in, robbery, etc. Frankfort Police seem all too eager to publicize shoplifting, suspended license violations, etc. But did you hear about the attempted home invasion while a resident was home last year in downtown Frankfort? That is a crime that would have been helpful to notify residents about so we could address it with our children and discuss what to do in a situation like this. Instead, when I asked the chief of police specifically about this he implied that he wasn't aware of it and eventually informed me that because the resident didn't file charges, the 3 people were actually pulled over by police and let go. So no crime was committed and therefore the police were not obligated to inform the community. That is wrong in my opinion. How do you feel?

People are committing crimes and we are worried about humiliating them? Natural consequence of getting arrested as I see it.
local guy May 23, 2013 at 04:35 PM
Not worried about people that commit violent crimes being published at all, I want them to be punished to the full degree. I just find it a little disturbing to see younger people put up on the patch for petty crimes. Also don't agree with first time offenders having their names published for dui prior to being convicted. Anybody that states that they have never driven while being over .08 is full of it, or they never have touched alchohol. Getting arrested for dui can happen to ANYONE, not just "scumbags and losers". And no I have never been arrested for a crime or dui.
