Motorists Speeding Through New Lenox Turn Out to be Driving Drunk: Cops

The New Lenox cops stopped two drunk drivers for speeding, police said.

Two motorists pulled over for speeding in New Lenox turned out to be driving drunk, police said.

The cops first stopped James Hayes, 67, of 2120 N. 72nd Court in Elmwood Park. Hayes was pulled over about 1:30 a.m. Friday near the junction of Route 30 and Interstate 80.

Hayes was released from custody after posting bond.

Then, about 1:15 a.m. Saturday, the police pulled over 25-year-old Brittany Miller of 622 Downing St. Miller was stopped near the corner of Haven Avenue and Wildwood Drive.

Miller also was released after posting bond.
