More Thievery Afoot at New Lenox Walmart: Cops
The police arrested a Joliet woman for allegedly stealing from the New Lenox Walmart but some other guy got away with it.
The New Lenox Walmart again was targeted by thieves, police said.
The New Lenox police did apprehend one alleged crook who tried to abscond from the East Lincoln Highway superstore with unspecified "merchandise."
Christine Delgado, 44, of 717 Garnsey Ave. in Joliet was charged with retail theft Friday evening.

An officer was told "DelGado removed merchandise from the shelf, concealed the merchandise and left the store without paying for the merchandise," police said.
Delgado was released after posting bond.

Then, shortly before 6 p.m. Sunday, the police were back at Walmart. But this time they didn't get their woman.
An officer was told an "unknown person removed merchandise from the shelf, concealed the merchandise and left the store without paying for the merchandise," police said.
The case of the Unknown Person and the Unpaid For Merchandise was sent to the department's investigations division for review.
