Man Resembling That Guy Who Stole Cars From Charter Fitness Caught Trying to Steal Car From Charter Fitness: Cops

The Roselle man also had some hydrocodone, police said.

A Roselle man bearing a striking resemblance to a car thief who preyed on vehicles parked at the New Lenox Charter Fitness was caught trying to steal an automobile from the health club parking lot, police said.

Joseph Jacaway, 25, of 571 Plum Grove Road was arrested about 1 p.m. outside the East Lincoln Highway Charter Fitness.

Officers were sent to the health club to look into a report of someone attempting to steal a vehicle, police said.

"The officers located Jacaway, who matched the description of a subject that had previously taken vehicles from Charter Fitness," police said. "Jacaway was taken into custody and the officer discovered that he was in possession of a controlled substance."

The controlled substance was hydrocodone, police said. Jacaway was hauled away to the Will County jail.
