Man Pulls Knife During Parking Spat

A 52-year-old New Lenox man is accused of threatening someone with a knife over parking.

Daniel Meyer, 52, of the 100 block of East Second Street, faces aggravated assault and resisting arrest charges, New Lenox police said.


An officer was called at about 7:25 p.m. on Sept. 13 to the 100 block of East Second Street to investigate an assault, police said. The cop found that a man had been threatened with a knife because of a parking dispute.

Police said Meyer resisted during the arrest.

Meyer posted bond and was released.
