Live Mas: New Lenox Man Jailed in Connection With Tumult at Taco Bell

The New Lenox man was jailed on a felony aggravated battery charge.

A New Lenox man was jail after allegedly raising a ruckus at the local Taco Bell.

Robert Curylo, 27, of 916 S. Cooper Road was charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault, damage to property, possession of cannabis and resisting arrest in connection with the incident shortly after midnight Thursday at the West Maple Street Taco Bell.

An officer was sent to the Taco Bell to check out a report of an intoxicated person on the property.

"The officer arrived and observed Curylo lunge at a victim sitting in a car," police said.

"While taking Curylo into custody Curylo resisted the officers and damaged the squad car," police said. "The officer discovered Curylo to be in possession of cannabis."

Curylo was taken to the Will County jail.
