If you plan to drive on a suspended license and illegally transport alcohol, it's probably a good idea to avoid attracting attention by throwing trash out of your car window.

But that's exactly what a New Lenox teen did about 11 o'clock Christmas morning, police said.

William Albano, 19, of 637 Lila's Court was charged with littering, driving while license suspended and illegally transporting alcohol after he was pulled over near the intersection of Joliet Highway and Lake Road.

An officer stopped Albano after watching him toss a cup out of his car window, police said.

Albano was released after posting bond.
