Joliet Women Caught Stealing From New Lenox Walmart: Cops

The cops allegedly caught two Joliet women stealing from Walmart while they were here in New Lenox.

Two women from Joliet allegedly believed they could get away with stealing things from New Lenox.

Both of the women were arrested Wednesday.

About 1 p.m. that day, a police officer sent to Walmart to investigate a theft complaint was reportedly told that Ileea Garcia, 32, of 108 Baker Ave. had "removed merchandise from the store without paying for it."

Garcia was taken into custody and released after posting bond.

Less than an hour and a half later, an officer again was sent to Walmart to investigate a retail theft complaint.

This time, just as with the time before, the officer was reportedly told that Ariel Ervins, 23, of 1418 Fairmont  Ave. "removed merchandise from the store without paying for it."

Ervins also was released from custody after posting bond.
