Healthy Crook Shoplifts From New Lenox Vitamin Store

A shoplifter stole product from the GNC in New Lenox.

The crook struck shortly after 2:30 p.m. The police did not disclose exactly what the thief absconded with from the 2352 E. Lincoln Highway nutritional supplement store, but we're betting it was something healthy.

The police did reveal that an "officer was dispatched to GNC reference a complaint of retail theft."

"The complainant advised that an unknown subject removed merchandise from the shelf, concealed the merchandise and left the store without paying for it," police said.

The police department's investigations division is on the case.
