Argument Turns Violent When Woman is Hit in the Knee: Blotter

Object Thrown At Knee


William Richardson, 47, of the 1200 block of Timber, New Lenox, was charge with aggravated battery, according to a New Lenox police report. Officer responded to a report of a battery at about 4 p.m. in the 1200 block of Timber. The victim told police she got into an argument with Richardson, who threw an object that hit her knee. Richardson was taken to the Will County jail.

SUNDAY, JULY 21

DUI Charge 


Michael Bean, 24, of the 900 block of Chelsea, New Lenox, was charge with driving under the influence, according to a report. Police were called at about 9:13 p.m. to the Walmart parking lot, located in the 500 block of East Route 30. A driver appeared to be going in and out of consciousnesses. An officer who spoke with the driver allegedly determined he was under the influence of drugs. Bean posted bond and was released.
