Traffic violation nets pot arrest
Jeffrey Puttkammer, 18, of the 200 block of Somerset Street, was stopped in his car for failure to use a turn signal at Central Road and Gear Road. He was ticketed for the traffic violation, but police found more. According to the report, police discovered he had a small amount of marijuana in his possession along with drug equipment.

He was arrested and posted bond.

Christmas decorations damaged
Police say a complaint was filed from a resident in the 800 block of Grand Mesa Lane after homeowners discovered that someone had cut the lights on Christmas decorations.
Mailbox damaged
Police are investigating a complaint from someone in the 2800 block of Shannon Lane. According to the report, someone damaged the mailbox.

Decorations targeted
Police say someone from the 1500 block of Bayhill Road filed a criminal damage to property complaint after discovering that their outdoor Christmas lights had been cut.
