DUI Charge For New Lenox Man, Pot Bust On Route 30: Blotter

DUI Stop


Kyle Bagget, 19, of the 1800 block of Tudor Lane, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and speeding, according to a New Lenox police report. Police stopped Bagget at about 9:10 p.m. near the intersection of Illinois Highway and Western Avenue.

Bagget's car was stopped for speeding, the report states. An officer allegedly determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol during the stop. Bagget posted bond and was released.

Pot Arrest


John Hajek, 23, of the 300 block of Aspen Drive, New Lenox, was charged with possessing drug equipment and speeding, according to a report. Hajek was driving at about 11:26 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Route 30 when New Lenox police stopped him for speeding. An officer reported smelling marijuana and found that Hajek had drug equipment, police said. A passenger, James Plocharczyk, 23, of the 16100 block of West Carlow Circle, Manhattan, was charged with possessing marijuana.
