Driving too Slow, DUI
Simone Tolson, 30, Joliet, was stopped after midnight when police noticed her driving too slow at Gougar Road and Route 30. According to the report, after she failed to turn properly, police pulled her over discovered that she was driving under the influence. She was ticketed for DUI, an improper turn and driving an uninsured vehicle.
Retail theft
A staff member at Walmart, in the 500 block of Route 30, filed a retail theft complaint. Someone reportedly left the store without paying for merchandise.
Three cited for driving on a suspended license
Joshua Lee Foster, 25, of the 1000 block of Shagbark Court, was pulled over at Andrea Drive and Nelson Road, for speeding. a computer check indicated that he was also driving on a suspended license and wanted on an in-state warrant. He posted bond and was released.
Eric J. Kincaid, 29, Hammond, IN, was stopped at Gougar Road and Haven Avenue about 4:25 p.m. Police spotted a registration violation and determined that he was also driving on a suspended license. He was issued citations and released.
WEDNESDAY, FEB. 13
Robert A. Gorden, 27, Joliet was stopped in his vehicle at Gougar and Maple Roads for an equipment violation. Police then learned that he was also driving on a suspended license.
Fraud complaint
Someone from the 100 block of Victorian Drive told police that an unauthorized purchase was made on a credit card. Police are investigating the incident.
