Driving In The Wrong Lane


Danielle Machak, 19, of the 1100 block of Clara, Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, possessing marijuana and possessing drug equipment, according to a New Lenox police report. Machak was stopped at about 9:55 p.m. near the intersection of Kris Drive and Nelson Road. The officer who stopped her said she drove in the wrong lane and failed to signal. The officer also determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol and possessed marijuana.

Police were called at about 12:41 p.m. to a house in the 900 block of Lake, according to a report. A man told officers he was visiting a friend when he was attacked by someone there. No arrests were reported.
