Crime Map: See Where October Burglaries Occurred

This interactive map shows where all car and home burglaries, as well as property damage incidents, happened in New Lenox

How to use this map

  1. The house icon denotes a burglary or theft at a home. The car icon indicates a vehicle that was burglarized. The tools icon shows property damage incidents.
  2. Hover over an icon to see the location at which an incident occurred. Please note that addresses are not exact, but rather noting the block where something happened (i.e. "1000 block of Spencer Road").
  3. Click on an icon for more details about what was stolen or damaged at the location.

In October 2011, nine cars were burglarized in New Lenox. In most cases, the car doors were left unlocked, but some incidents involved break-ins. Three homes were burglarized, and there were also five incidents in which items were stolen from homes. There were 12 cases of property damage last month.
