Credit Card Crooks Targeting New Lenox Women

New Lenox police detectives were looking into a pair of recent credit card crimes.

The New Lenox police learned of two women recently targeted by credit card crooks.

A police officer was sent to the 700 block of Brockwood Road about 3:45 p.m. Monday. The officer met a woman there and was told an "unknown person used her credit card to make unauthorized purchases," police said.

About the same time on the same day, another officer was at the police station reportedly hearing the same story from a resident of Cooper Road.

Both cases were sent to detectives for review.
