Credit Card Crooks Strike Twice in New Lenox

New Lenox police detectives are trying to crack a pair of credit card fraud cases.

The New Lenox police are working on a pair of recent credit card crimes.

In the first case, an officer met with a resident at the police station about 4:30 p.m. Thursday. The man told the officer an "unknown person used his credit card to make unauthorized purchases online," police said.

The next day, an officer met with a man who reported an "unknown person used his credit card to make unauthorized purchases," this time, apparently not online.

Both cases were sent to the police department's investigations division for review.
