Crash Leads To DUI Charge

Samuel Citro, 18, of the 100 block of Maple, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence and failing to yield, according to a New Lenox police report. Police were called at about 8:29 p.m. to the intersection of Cedar Road and Route 6 for a reported crash. While investigation, police arrested Citro. He posted bond and was released.

Shoplifting At Walmart

Valerie Dawson, 37, of the 400 block of Delaware, Bolingbrook, was charged with retail theft, according to a report. Police were called at about 5:18 a.m. to Walmart, 501 E. Lincoln Hwy., for a shoplifting complaint. Dawson is accused of stealing about $85 worth of store merchandise. He posted bond and was released.
