Cops Report Crimes Against Cars in New Lenox

The New Lenox police are investigating a number of recent vehicular crimes.

The New Lenox police learned of a recent spate of crimes against cars.

First, an officer was sent to the 1400 block of Delmar Drive shortly before 4 p.m. on May 19. There, he was told of a mystery man removing the hubcaps from a vehicle.

Two days later, an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Vanderbilt Drive where a resident told of a crook snatching a briefcase from his parked car.

Finally, on Thursday, the police were told a woman's 2012 Jeep Liberty was stolen off the 700 block of Dartmouth Drive.
