Cops: Crooks Cop Copper in Basement Burglary

Prowlers pulled pipe out of an abandoned house, police said.

Burglars broke into a Palmer Ranch Drive house and stole copper pipe out of the basement, police said.

An officer was sent to the residence in the 2300 block of Palmer Ranch shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday and was informed of the theft.

The house victimized house was vacant at the time of the break-in because it was in foreclosure, police said.
