Cops Charge Joliet Men With Stealing From New Lenox Walmart

The two Joliet men hid Walmart merchandise under their coats, police said.

The New Lenox cops nabbed a pair of Joliet men stealing stuff from Walmart Monday afternoon, police said.

Austin Johnson and Dante Ferguson, both 18 and of 2106 Tamarack Drive, were charged with retail theft.

An "officer observed two subjects walking out of Walmart that appeared to be concealing something under their coats," police said. "The officers discovered that the subjects had merchandise from Walmart that they had not purchased."

Johnson and Ferguson were released after posting bond.
