A pair of local teens got pinched stealing from the New Lenox Walmart, police said.

The two young men—Taylor Worrall, 19, of 420 Livingston Drive and Keith Christerson, 18, of 2020 Finborough Circle were picked up shortly after noon Wednesday at the East Lincoln Highway superstore.

An "officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart reference a complaint of retail theft," police said. "The complainant advised that Worrall and Christerson took merchandise from the shelf and concealed it under their clothing and then left the store without paying for the merchandise."

Both Worrall and Christerson were charged with retail theft and hauled away to the Will County jail.

These boys did nothing wrong. So they stole from Walmart. That doesn't make them thieves. They were hiding it under their coats because it was a matter of supply and demand. They got the last one on the shelf and with it being the holidays they were sure another shopper would try and take it from them. These ute's are a victim of a vendor not supplying stores with enough product to meet the needs of the consumer. Your honor. It's Apple and Sony and all the others who are the real criminals here....
