Shuttered business gets hit by burglars

Police are investigating a burglary in the 1900 block of Garnet Court. The owner of a shuttered business filed a complaint because someone stole some property that was still at the site.

Police are investigating a complaint filed by the owner of a business in the 1000 block of Star Lane. According to the report, the owner is getting repeated harassing calls. 

Driving on a suspended license

Kari A. Bill, 27, Joliet, was pulled over at Washington Street and Route 30. A registration check revealed that her license had been suspended, and she was driving an uninsured vehicle. She was issued tickets and released.

THURSDAY, FEB. 28

Slashed tires

Kyle J. Baggett, 19, of the 1800 block of Tudor Lane, was charged with criminal damage to property and possession of alcohol by a minor. According to the report, someone in the 200 block of Woodlawn Road complained that Bagget had slashed the tires on his vehicle.
