Burglars Hit 6 Frankfort Homes Monday

The Frankfort police said there were six burglaries on the southeast end of town Monday.

Prowlers burglarized six Frankfort homes Monday.

The victimized residences were all on the southeast end of town, said Frankfort police Deputy Chief Kevin Keegan.

The crooks gained entry by forcing doors, Keegan said. All of the break-ins were in the late afternoon into the evening, he said.

No one was home when the prowlers struck, he said.

The burglars made off with jewelry and other unspecified property, Keegan said.

Somebody needs to put a cap in these punks. Wait until they stumble on an occupant. 4-camera DVR's run ~$300 and can be accessed remotely by smartphone.
