BP Burned in Propane Tank Theft; Police Blotter

Two Propane Tanks Stolen

Police were called to BP gas station in the 100 block of E. Route 30 in response to a complaint that two propane tanks were stolen from an outside storage cage. The matter is under investigation.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 14

Vehicle Window Broken

Police say a vehicle window was reportedly broken when it was parked in the 1400 block of Eagle Vista Drive. A criminal damage to property complaint was filed. Police are investigating the incident.

Hubcaps Stolen Off Vehicle

Police were called to the 400 block of Nelson Road when a Jewel grocery store customer discovered the hubcaps were stolen off a vehicle parked in the lot. Police are investigating the theft complaint. 

Suspended License Results in a Ticket

Thanya Salcido, 23, of Joliet, was stopped after a random registration check came back that her license had been suspended. She was driving in the area of Francis Road and Spector Street. She was issued a citation and released.
