Bathroom Break-In at L-W North Ends in Destruction: Will County Police Blotter

Will County Sheriff's Office reports, Dec. 4 • Bathroom Break-In at L-W North Ends in Destruction.

TUESDAY, DEC. 4

Bathroom Break-In at L-W North Ends in Destruction

Unknown persons entered the women’s washroom located in the south concession stand at Lincoln-Way North High School on the 19900 block of S. Harlem Avenue in Frankfort and damaged two glass mirrors, two sinks, two soap dispensers, two exterior light covers and the entry door lock.

This is one of multiple incidents to occur in recent months at a Frankfort high school. Two snowplows, weighing in at 900 pounds each, were stolen from Lincoln-Way East in early November. In October, two men were arrested for dumpster diving at East.

Police report information is provided by the Frankfort Police Department, Will County Sheriff's Office and other law enforcement agencies. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. If you or a family member are charged or cited and the case is subsequently adjudicated, we encourage you to notify the editor. We will verify and report the outcome.
