Bail Revoked for Woman Accused of Repeat Burglaries

Michelle DeFrank, 29, of New Lenox, was taken to Will County Jail on Monday after a judge revoked her bail. She has a court date scheduled later this week in connection with multiple burglaries from 2010.

A New Lenox woman is back in Will County Jail after a judge revoked her bail Monday. She'll remain there at least until a court date Thursday.

Michelle DeFrank, 28, of New Lenox, was arrested by in November 2010 in connection with a string of burglaries to cars and businesses.

Police tracked down a vehicle using surveillance footage from one business, where two suspects had broken the glass at the door and taken cigarettes and lottery tickets. Detectives recovered items from the burglary at DeFrank's residence, as well as items from other recent vehicle burglaries in the area, police said at the time of the arrest.

DeFrank is charged with six counts of burglary, spokeswoman Kathy Hoffmeyer said. DeFrank will appear in court Oct. 20.
