Another Supermarket Wallet Theft Reported in New Lenox
Another woman had her wallet stolen while she was shopping in a New Lenox supermarket.
A second woman in just over a week lost her wallet to a sticky-fingered thief while shopping in a New Lenox supermarket.
This time, the woman was shopping in the Aldi on East Lincoln Highway about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday when she was victimized.
The woman reportedly went to the police station to report the theft and told an officer "an unknown person unknowingly took her wallet while she was shopping at Aldi."

"The subject then used her credit cards before she had an opportunity to cancel them," police said.
The matter was sent to the department's investigations division for review.

Eight days earlier, a woman lost her wallet to a thief while she was shopping at Jewel, police said.
