Weekend mischief leads to criminal damage in the community.

Gasoline stolen out of car

Police say they were called to the 2900 block of Horizon Trail in response to a theft complaint. Someone at the home told them about $20 worth of gasoline was from his car. Police are investigating the matter.

Abandoned garage set ablaze

Police say they were called to assist the New Lenox Fire Protection District in the 1600 block of E. Route 30. According to the report, an abandoned garage was set on fire. The dollar amount of damage is yet unknown. The incident is under investigation.

Port-a-potties Tipped

Police were called to the 700 block of Joliet Highway after someone noticed that mischief-makers had tipped three portable bathrooms along the football field at Martino Junior High School. The roof on each was damaged. A criminal damage to property complaint was filed. The matter is under investigation.
