6 iPhones Snatched From Home Improvement Store Staff

Walmart Theft


Latroya McElrath, 19, of the 100 block of Jefferson, Joliet, was charged with retail theft, according to a New Lenox police said. She is accused of taking merchandise from Walmart, located in the 500 block of East Route 30, and leaving without paying. McElrath was arrested at about 1:54 p.m. She was released after posting bond.


Six Stolen Cell Phones


Someone took six iPhones that being used by employees at Lowe's, located in the 2400 block of East Route 30, according to a report. The theft was reported at about 11:06 a.m. No arrests were reported.
