$4,100 of Equipment Stolen From Providence Catholic

The burglary occurred over the weekend, and New Lenox police are still investigating.

Police are still looking for someone who broke into a garage at Providence Catholic High School last weekend and stole more than $4,000 of landscaping tools and equipment.

Police were called Monday morning, and Deputy Chief Bob Pawlisz of the New Lenox Police Department said they suspect the burglary happened over the weekend. The employee who called police said he locked the storage garage before leaving work Friday, and when he arrived Monday, the garage was broken into.

Various equipment missing included a snow blower, a power washer, a lawn mower and more, totaling an estimated $4,100 in value.

Pawlisz said police are still investigating the incident, but that there are no leads. There was no surveillance available in the area at the high school.
