$2,800 Debit Card Fraud, DUI Charge After Crash: Blotter

THURSDAY, JULY 18

DUI Charge for New Lenox Woman


Laura Saari, 55, of the 400 block of South Cedar Road, New Lenox, was charged with driving under the influence, according to a report. Police were called at about 7:55 p.m. to the area of 800 block of North Cedar Road to a complaint about a car crash where the driver left the scene. Police were able to track down the driver, who was allegedly under the influence. Saari was booked and released after posting bond.

WEDNESDAY, JULY 17

$2,800 Fraud


A debit card was used to make $2,800 worth of unauthorized purchases, according to a report. The fraud was reported at about 4:59 p.m. in the 400 block of Root Street.

MONDAY, JULY 15

Unauthorized Purchases


Unauthorized transactions were made using a New Lenox resident's bank account information, according to a report. The fraud was reported at about 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of Hickory Creek Drive.
