We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars.

This week, Frugal Family scoured our local sources to come up with great deals for film buffs, homeowners and gardeners and Irish music lovers.

FREE SHOWING OF THE OUTRAGE 

Deal: The Center, 12700 Southwest Highway in Palos Park, is showing “The Outrage” at 6:30 p.m. Friday. "The Outrage" is a 1964 remake of the 1950 film classic "Roshoman." Paul Newman plays a bandit intimately involved in a murder case, for which four people tell four very different tales about the tragic event.

TWO FOR ONE PASTAS

Deal: Ed & Joe's, 19901 S. Wold Rd. in Mokena, has a two-for-one pasta deal on Wednesdays that includes soup or salad and garlic bread. This deal is only good for take-out and delivery orders between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m.
