PARENTS BEWARE OF NL PARK DISTRICT

ATTENTION PARENTS!!!!
My 10 year old daughter take part in the FUN RUN CLUB through the New Lenox Park District.  This activity takes place at L-W Central on Monday and Wednesday nights from 7:30 to 8:30.  I dropped my daughter off at 7:30 and I made sure there was a coach there.  When I returned at 8:30 my daughter was standing OUTSIDE and she then informed me that the coach decided to make it a half day because there was only 4 kids there.  the coach noticed that my daughter was alone and told her he would be right back and HE NEVER CAME BACK!!! HE LEFT MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER ALONE OUTSIDE AT L-W CENTRAL FOR OVER 30 MINUTES. Thank goodness another parent saw her and stayed with her, but THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! With all of the news about an attempted abductions in the area they should pay more attention to our children.  First, they should never cut the class time in half unless all parents are aware of it.  Second, MY CHILD SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN LEFT ALONE.  I suggest that you do not put your children in activities with the park district.  They hire young kids that do not care about our children!
