Cardinal Fitness - Laraway unexpected closing/move

When the Rt. 30 Charter Fitness announced they would be moving to their new location on Rt. 30/Spencer, the Laraway Rd. Cardinal Fitness denied that they too would be part of the move (same owners). When I signed up at the Laraway Cardinal in March, we were specifically told they would not be closing or moving to the new location. This week, out of nowhere, a banner is posted on the entrance and across the gym announcing their closing/move to the new Rt. 30/Spencer location. Why was this fitness club owner not open about this from the beginning? When he announced that the original Rt. 30 Charter location was moving, why did he choose to NOT admit that the Laraway Cardinal would also be moving? Why the big secret? There is something odd about this.
