A Goodwill Truck has Plenty of Room for Donations to ShareFest 2012

Let's fill the semi-trailer to the brim with donations.

There is still room in a semi-trailer parked in the lot at for donations of clothes, books, small appliances and more.

A glimpse at the boxes of items coming is proof of the community's support for 11 days of giving, which started on Sept. 1. The boxes are filled with clothes of all sizes, toys, books, CDs and DVDs.

Standing in the truck surrounded by toys that once filled a chest in a little boy or girl's room, Gary Cheney, a member of the Committee, said, "It's amazinng what people give when they have the chance."

Pulling out a brand new mixer, he said, "Look, the price tag's still on it."

The community has been exceptionally generous, he said.
