Three students from Lincoln-Way Central help Attack Volleyball Club earn tournament championship.

Three students from Lincoln-Way Central High School in New Lenox helped score another victory for the Attack Volleyball Club of Orland Park. The Attack 16s team overcame a shaky start and fought hard to secure the championship at the Circus Series Tournament held March 10 in Niles.

“As the day went on, my girls continued to show excellent teamwork and drive,” said Attack Coach Jason Volkman. “I saw an excitement in them that I had not seen before. Their execution was tremendous. Overall, it was the best performance of the year by far.”

At the end of the day, the Attack 16s team had a 10-0 record, winning all five of their matches in two games.

The players from Lincoln-Way Central are Emily Ingala, Candace Finnnn, and Kendall Carstens.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
