Martin J. Larson Foundation Benefit Concert

April 13th benefit concert for the Martin J. Larson Foundation

The Martin J. Larson Foundation is pleased to announce an upcoming fundraiser scheduled for April 13, 2013 at Mojoes, in Joliet. This event entitled “Chicago Divas Live” is a concert that will feature some of the Midwest’s most notable pop artists. These musicians include: Xoe Wise, Gina Venier, Mandy Barry, and Jess Godwin.

Special guest and nationally known comedian/hypnotist Flip Orley will close out the evening with a hysterically unforgettable performance.

The Foundation was created in memory of Marty Larson who lost his battle with Lymphoma at the young age of 29 on November 14th 2006,  and provides scholarships to all Lincoln-Way High Schools, and benefits the American Cancer Society, the Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Cruedtzfeldt Jakob Disease Foundation. The Martin J. Larson Foundation also helps many local families who are battling cancer, lupus, MS and any other devastating diseases.

The April 13th concert is a 21+ event and doors open at 7:00pm. Tickets are on sale now through

www.mojoesofjoliet.com or any foundation member and are $20. You can contact foundation board member Mark Sagen at (815) 791-8352 with questions or to get tickets.

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
