New Lenox Fire Protection District to Collect Fire Extinguishers and Propane Cylinders at ShareFest Health and Safety Fair
On September 14th, the New Lenox Fire Protection District (NLFPD) will be at the 2013 ShareFest Health and Safety Fair located at Spencer Campus in New Lenox. The NLFPD will be there collecting used propane cylinders and fire extinguishers.
Anyone interested in dropping these items off can do so at the event from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. All four of the NLFPD stations also accept these items, as well as waste oil, on a daily basis. For more information on this program, please call the NLFPD office at (815) 463-4500.

The primary mission of the New Lenox Fire and Ambulance Protection District is to provide a range of programs designed to protect the lives and property within New Lenox Village and Township from the effects for fires and sudden medical emergencies or exposure to dangerous conditions created by man or nature with professional, compassionate, and quality service.
