Local Pet Adoption Event this Saturday

"Saving More Than Just Money" Pet Adoption & Awareness Day - Saturday, August 25th - 10am to 1pm - DON'T MISS THIS EVENT!

LincolnWay Community Bank is hosting their 5th Annual "Saving More Than Just Money" Pet Adoption and Awareness Day this Saturday, August 25th from 10am to 1pm at the bank. Ten local animal rescue organizations will be in attendance with dozens of dogs and cats that are looking for a loving home.

Rescue organizations that will be in attendance include All Herding Breed Rescue, Crossroads Shih Tzu Rescue, Grahamville Rescue & Sanctuary, Japanese Chin Care & Rescue, Making a Difference Animal Rescue, Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue, National Animal Welfare Society (NAWS), New Beginnings Cat Shelter, PAWS of Tinley Park and Safely Home Canine Rescue.

In addition to meeting the animals available for adoption, stop by and meet some of Silver Cross Hospital's Pet Therapy Dogs and enjoy a demonstration by the Morris Service Dog Program. Heartland Blood Center will be on site accepting life-saving donations of blood. Donors will receive a FREE Oberweis Gift Card.

FREE Pizza will be provided by Chicago Dough Pizza and FREE hot dogs compliments of LincolnWay Community Bank.

Don't miss this family friendly event. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Even if you aren't looking to adopt a pet, you can still get involved by being a volunteer or an advocate for these helpless animals in need of your help.
