If you like to light up the sky like the Griswold family, the New Lenox Park District is looking for you to enter its Holiday Lights Contest. You may also sign up to be a judge.

It's free to enter, but you must live in the village or New Lenox Township boundaries. You must register by Wednesday, Dec. 7 by contacting Lea Pipiras at 815-485-1737 or lpipiras@newlenoxparks.org.

First- through third-place winners get a yard sign for bragging rights, and the first-place winner will also get a pizza gift certificate.
The judging will be Monday, Dec. 12 and first- through third-place winners will be notified Wednesday, Dec. 14. To see last year's winners, read "."
