PHOTO GALLERY: Loyalty Day Parade Escapes the Rain

No rain on our parade! The community stayed dry and came together for the annual Loyalty Day Parade in New Lenox. Share your photos on Patch.

The Home of Proud Americans came together Sunday for the annual William A. Athans Loyalty Day Parade.

The parade serves as a yearly opportunity for residents to show their appreciation to the U.S. and those who have or are currently serving in the armed forces. Athans, a World War II veteran, was a local member and founded the parade.
