Erik Rancatore set up a surprise proposal for his girlfriend of seven years, Megan Flynn, by bringing her back to the place they met: Lincoln-Way Central.
Erik Rancatore and Megan Flynn, both graduates of the Lincoln-Way High School District, got engaged last week. But it wasn't any typical engagement announcement posted on Patch.
Rancatore set up a surprise proposal on his and Megan's seventh anniversary. He blindfolded her and drove her from their north side home in the city to Lincoln-Way Central, where they met. He walked her up to the stage, where they performed musicals, and got down on one knee.
