LWC Music Department Presents Jazz and Choir Concerts

Lincoln-Way Central Music Department is proud to present two concerts this week.

LWC "Jazz Knight" is Tuesday,  May 15, 2012 at 7pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium featuring Jazz I, Jazz II, and the vocal jazz group "Intuition". This will be the final jazz concert of the 2011-2012 school year, following a great festival season and their most successful "Swing Knight" ever.  Concert participants and performers will all sit onstage in an intimate "jazz club" setting. Seating is limited to 150. 

Join us again on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 for the May Choral Concert starting at 7pm in the Fine Arts Auditorium. All LWC Choral Ensembles will be performing along with select Wind Ensemble members and LWC Music Faculty. A highlight of the evening will be when LWC Alumni join the choirs onstage to sing "Alma Mater". Admission to each concert is one non-perishable food item which is donated to the local food pantry.
