Park District Galaxy Dance Program Announces Annual Recital

The New Lenox Community Park District’s Galaxy Dancers will perform their 19th Annual Galaxy Dance Recital on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Lincoln-Way East High School Fine & Performing Arts Center beginning at 1:00pm. 

The theme for this year’s recital is “Colors in Motion” and will feature over 200 talented dancers ranging in age from three to fourteen years old who will perform for their families. 

This annual recital is made possible by a group of talented dance instructors/choreographers including Chris Johnson, Jenny Diamond, and Tammy Johnson.  They are also assisted by Teacher Volunteers including Allison Geary, Julieanne Hall and Justine Kavanaugh. 

Sue Kuzmuk, Recreation Supervisor for the New Lenox Park District adds, “This is the highlight of the year for the dance troupe.  All of the participants as well as the instructors have worked so hard and the wonderful program they perform demonstrates their commitment to dance.”
