3 Days until the Old Plank Trail Community Bank's Pant for the Pantry

Please join us Sunday October 21 either as a partipant or spectator at the Old Plank Trail Community Bank's Pant for the Pantry. Don't forget to bring a food donation to the New Lenox Food Pantry.

We are looking forward to another successful race this year and hoping that our runners and walkers have a great event.  The run/walk this year is chip timed for our racers which is something that we are very excited about. There is free parking and plenty of it for our race participants, most of it is located in the village commons area.  We will have plenty of people directing you to an appropriate parking area.  If you are bringing a food donation please let one of the volunteers know as we will have a drop off area for that so you do not have to carry it down to where the race begins.  One of our volunteers will do that for you.  This race is to sponsor the New Lenox Food Pantry and as much as we would like participants in the race we also want to raise awareness about the food pantries and the fact that more and more people are relying on them.  They need our help to keep their pantries stocked any little bit can help.  If you are interested in joining us as a race particpant or as a spectator to the race we look forward to seeing you on Sunday at 8:30 AM at Old Plank Trail Community Bank in New Lenox.  Any questions about the race or food drive we are hosting at our locations feel free to call 815-485-0001

People coming from the east will now have to fight through school traffic at Rt. 30/Schoolhouse.Read More People from southwest New Lenox will have to either venture up Cedar, which is painfully slow... or take Spencer from Laraway, in which they will have to cross Rt. 30 to go straight. Won't be an easy picnic.
