2 Days until Old Plank Trail Community Bank's Pant for the Pantry 5K

Packet pickup started this morning at our New Lenox location located at 280 Veterans Parkway, we wanted to thank everyone for participating so far and helping get our race off to a nice start.  It's not too late to register though we have registration forms at all of our bank locations and there will be day of registration.  The first 400 registrants are guaranteed a shirt, sizes are given on a first come first serve basis, register early to get your preferred size.  Packet pick up will be until 7pm tonight and from 8:30-1:00pm tomorrow.  Packet pick up will also be available on the day of the race at the registration tent.  Electronic registration ends tonight and after that only paper registration forms will be accepted.  The race will start promptly at 8:30 AM on Sunday morning and it is a chip timed race.  We are fortunate to have a lot of families participating in this event and are hoping to make this a good time for all ages involved.  We will have music and raffles at the starting and ending point of the race and these will go through the end of the race.  Again we hope to see everyone who can out and participating at the Old Plank Trail Community Bank's Pant for the Pantry 5k.  It is supposed to be a great day weatherwise.  Looking forward to meeting all of our runners/walkers.  Don't forget opening ceremony will begin around 8:00 AM.
